Swindon Wheelers are affiliated to Cycling Time Trials (CTT), which means you can enter any time trial events you want to, provided you pay the entry fee for the event. You’ll also have third party accident protection for those events.
To stay up to date with time trials in the area, check out CTT’s website by clicking here.
If you’re entering Time trial events, unless it’s one organised by a local club (e.g. Latton), then we suggest you register with CTT for free. Then you can find and enter any events you want online.

For those wanting a tougher challenge, the West region has a hardrider series…and a hill climb series….to enter these events use the CTT website link shown earlier.
Over 40? Check out the West of England VTTA (Veteran Time Trial Association). It looks like a really great community of riders. You just need to be a member (£20 for single membership) to take part in their events. Get involved!
Remember, time trials are not just for the summer months. Early in the year, there are several time trials for teams of two, three and four riders. Feel free to enter yourself and your mates to show off the club colours. Later in the year, throughout September and October, you have a number of hill climbs to choose from. You just need to sign up on the CTT site. Be sure to sign up early for TT events; start-line entry isn’t always available.
